Ashley M. Kramer MSW, LCSW – Clinic Director

Ashley was born in California and raised in Richland Center where she graduated from Richland Center High School in 2006. She went on to attend Viterbo University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2011. During her time at Viterbo, she completed an internship with Vernon County’s Department of Family and Children’s Services. She later went on to attend UW Milwaukee where she graduated with her Masters of Social Work (MSW) in 2014. During her studies at UW Milwaukee, she completed her practicum at Rogers Behavioral Health. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Tennessee where she worked as a social worker for Youth Villages in Nashville.

In 2015, Ashley seized an opportunity to work with children and adolescents in crisis and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. For nearly two years she worked for Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma providing treatment services in a short-term residential program. In 2017, she moved back to Wisconsin and settled in the Milwaukee area after obtaining a position as a child and adolescent social worker with Rogers Behavioral Health. During the time before committing herself to Pine Counseling, she treated children and adolescents in the inpatient and residential treatment units.

Growing up in Richland Center, Ashley is very aware of the need for mental health and substance abuse services in the area. Obtaining her Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential in April 2019 was the first step to providing these much-needed services. With the ability to provide treatment services independent of a psychiatric facility, she decided to bring additional treatment options to the Richland Center area. While her passion remains for children and adolescents struggling with mental health disorders, her education and experience provide her with the ability to treat adults and adolescents with both mental health and substance use disorders. As Clinical Director, she will continue providing services to these types of clients and is also responsible for the overall operation of the clinic and its programming.
